BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Excursion is exactly as nice as one would expect for a one-owner vehicle this age that hasn't been abused. With an impressive 268,215 on the odometer, the body alone shows how well-maintained this truck is. Trucks don't stay this nice for that long under heavy abuse! Tasteful exterior modifications include a lift, 24" wheels, Nitto all-terrain tires, and LED lights on the rocker panels.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Still wearing its original paint, it is easy to see just how well cared for this truck has been. The original brown paint is in great condition, and still has a great shine to it! This paint has held up incredibly well and shows the kind of treatment this truck received, even with as much road time as it has had. There are some minor defects in the paint as shown in the photos, as expected for a vehicle of this age at this mileage.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is perhaps the most pleasantly surprising aspect of this truck. If you've ever owned a Ford truck from this era, you know how quickly problems began to show with plastic items. The interior on this truck is in fantastic condition and needs nothing to be enjoyed. Even the front seats are showing only minimal wear!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Unsurprisingly, given the condition of the rest of the truck, the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel runs like a younger truck. Plus, it sounds great! The Nitto offroad tires are in great condition. Though no invoices are available, the original owner states that the 6.0L was 'bulletproofed' within the last 10,000 miles. If you know 6.0s, you know this is important! Last but not least, this truck drives and steers almost like it isn't lifted at all, which is no small feat for a full sized SUV this high in the air!
