WWII Eickhorn 44cof German Matching #s 8934x M84 K98 Mauser Bayonet w/Scabbard

Description

WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is marked "8934" over "X" on one side and on the other side is "cof" over "44" which stands for Carl Eickhorn, 1944. The red grips are solid with some scratches and nicks. The blade has not been sharpened, the tip is a little sharp, and the finish looks good. The pommel has a Waffenamt mark "WaA51?"

Lock button is functional. The scabbard has matching marks to the bayonet "8934" over "X" on one side and on the backside is "cof" over "44". The scabbard is solid with no dents, some surface rust on the last 3 1/2" of the frontside by the ball finial, and the frog stud is gone. Length of the blade measures 10" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 15 1/4", and overall in the scabbard it is 15 15/16".
