Description

WWII German K98 Mauser Long Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked "E.u.F. Horster" over a faint "Solingen". The blade has been sharpened. Lock button is functional. The scabbard is solid with no dents and has some paint loss scattered throughout. The leather frog shows typical wear with light crazing throughout, stitching is tight, and the felt on the back is mostly intact. Leather washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 9 13/16" (15/16" wide x 1/4" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 9/16", and overall in the scabbard it is 15 11/16". The frog alone is 8 1/4".
